Just dropping a new post to show the most recent clip I’ve completed. It’s for Australian band, Snog http://www.metropolis-records.com/artist/snog
Like the other clips I’ve created. This was made using stop motion animation techniques and minimal after effects etc. The imagery was created using a combination of hand drawn and paper cut outs.
Here is a link to a short test shot for a project that is happening. The project will be completed using stop motion animation with charcoal drawings. The program used to compile images will be Stop Motion Pro.
The main theme behind is is the idea of time and its influence over all of us from crib to coffin.
The great creator and destroyer.

Here is another still image using the motif. I have since decided to cut out the gears on the below image. The Acetate, although clear, still shows up when light is coming from behind. This will be obvious even when in animating at 13fps.
Test Shot 2
Just thought I’d dedicate a post to the animated music videos I’ve created over the past couple of years.
Bomber by Abreact
A Lone Star by Anchor and the Butterfly
The Wildbird with music by Mark Anthony Stone
After 8 months and countless hours of toiling away with paper cutouts and pencils, I’ve finally completed the Anchor and the Butterfly music video “A Lone Star”
It was created in the same fashion as films like Nightmare Before Christmas but with one person on the production crew instead of who knows how many.
So go check it out!
Big favor everyone. Could you please vote for my animation on this link? If I get in the top few, my animation will be screened at the Sydney Opera House!
Just go to the link, click on the vote tab and scroll across until you see my animation which will look like this picture;
